The Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists is a flagship initiative of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and has brought more than 1,200 foreign journalists to the U.S. (left) African journalists "meet the press" at John Hopkins Middle School's renowned "Journeys in Journalism Program. (right) Volunteering for a project to preserve our coastal ecosystem, the Murrow delegation planted over 1,500 sea oats at Fort DeSoto County Park.
