​For this in-person culmination of the year-long project, we welcomed 67 photojournalists from 51 countries. For the entire year of this unique IVLP project, photojournalists from around the world created indelible images of their towns, countries and regions as each struggled with the societal, economic and human effects of the pandemic.

Before traveling to Washington, DC to receive their awards from Secretary of State Antony Blinken, eight IVLP visitors from Bangladesh, Colombia, Iraq, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mexico, Serbia and Zimbabwe engaged in a series of interactive anti-corruption workshops led by local, state and Federal law enforcement and judiciary in Tampa Bay.

WP Alumni Special Project
Al Nayzak “Tech Talent 2022” STEM Mission
August 13–20, 2022
Seven “Tech Talent 2022” award winners and Al Nayzak team members traveled to Florida for a STEM education mission in collaboration with World Partnerships. First stop – NASA’s Kennedy Space Center! The group explored the history of space flight, from the first Goddard rocket experiments to the Apollo moon missions, the Space Shuttle program, and the International Space Station. They even caught a glimpse of the Artemis 1 unmanned moon rocket being readied for its first mission inside the historic Vehicle Assembly Building! And that was just the first day! These impressive, talented young innovators agreed it was truly a whirlwind "once-in-a-lifetime" experience.
