Thursday, August 18: Sunset Sail (Treasure Island)

Having first seen the Atlantic Ocean the previous Monday, the Tech Talent group boarded a 48-foot sailboat for a 2-hour cruise in Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico on Thursday. Two of the group got to steer the sailboat once we got into the Gulf waters! With other guests on the boat, plenty of questions were asked and answered about Tech Talent 2022 as we sailed into the sunset. After a whirlwind few days, the sunset sail provided everyone with a peaceful time to process and to reflect on their mission so far, and to relax in the end of day beauty of a sunset over the Gulf of Mexico (and no filters in these photos!).
