Robert E. O’Neill, Managing Partner and Founder, SI Global Partners LLC, and former United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida keynoted the afternoon with lessons learned in a long career as a state and Federal prosecutor prosecuting transnational narcotics trafficking, money laundering, and organized crime. Reminding everyone that investigating is easy and prosecuting is hard, he underscored the importance of international cooperation in combating transnational criminal organizations. His perspective and his candor about the real challenges faced by every visitor in the room made for an open, in-depth exchange during the Q&A session.
