Arrival at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort,
and A Day at the Magic Kingdom! - Orlando

The group arrived in Orlando early Saturday afternoon, and after brief introductions to the World Partnerships team, quickly freshened up for their first exploration of our host hotel, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort! Later in the afternoon, World Partnerships conducted a briefing and Q&A on the mission agenda, accompanied by pizza and sodas that restored their energy from their long flight before a visit to an Orlando mall and the Disney McDonald’s.

After a much-needed rest, the group gathered on Sunday for breakfast and got a surprise visit from Disney team members with “1st Visit” memento pins. Then, it was off to “The Happiest Place on Earth” for a long day visiting Disney’s Magic Kingdom theme park. At the end of the day – filled with rides like “The Haunted Mansion”, “Space Mountain” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” and fireworks and a parade, one participant described the whole experience as “Epic!”
